Artist Community Manager

Full time Remote - Europe preferred

As an Artist Community Manager you will have your finger on the pulse of our amazing art community. As we embark on a mission to build a truly collaborative app for artists, you will be taking on an important responsibility of helping us to understand what are their needs, ideas and frustrations. You will be also organising fun art events, collaborative drawing sessions and various conference activities.

What you’ll need:

  • Love for art
  • Art degree and/or commercial art portfolio
  • Passion for meeting artists and making new connections
  • English proficiency
  • Good writing skills
  • Provable experience in:
    • Organising virtual events (Twitch / YouTube / Zoom)
    • Moderating online communities (Discord / Facebook / Reddit)
  • Willingness to try new things and look for a better way
  • Self-motivation and remote work skillset

It would be great if you have:

  • Personal projects:
    • Social media profiles
    • Blog
    • Twitch / YouTube channels
  • Interest in various art areas (concept art, animation, game art) and mediums (2D, 3D, VR, etc)

Your typical day might include:

  • Running our Discord community
  • Organising collaborative drawing sessions:
    • Streaming on company social media profiles
    • Private beta-testing sessions with chosen members of the community
    • Guest events on partnering channels and conferences
  • Creating engaging content:
    • Video tutorials
    • Blog posts
    • Social media posts
    • Community newsletters
  • Managing Community and Events section of our website
  • Supporting growth of the community:
    • Highlighting outstanding artists already using Magma Studio
    • Supporting existing artists and event partners
    • Identifying and contacting potential new high-profile members of the community (streamers, event organisers, conferences, etc)
  • Working closely with the product team:
    • Collecting artist feedback and ideas
    • Providing own observations on community needs and thoughts
    • Educating our team on key art and artist trends
  • Representing company on various art conferences
